A power of appointment whereby the power holder has the ability to distribute another person's property to any other person or estate (including the power holder, the power holder's estate, creditors of the power holder, and creditors of the power holder's estate). A General Power of Appointment is included in the power holder's gross estate for estate tax purposes.
