Conservator

A guardian or protector appointed by a court to protect and manage the estate of an incapacitated adult or minor child (i.e., a child under the age of 18). The Conservator manages the finances of the incapacitated adult or minor child, and holds those assets in "conservatorship" until the adult is no longer incapacitated or until the child attains the age of majority (i.e., over 18 years).
