Wills give you the freedom to determine how best to distribute your assets to your loved ones when you are no longer with them. Learn more by clicking on the articles below or by contacting St. Louis Will attorney Vince Taormina.

What Is a Will?

A Will is a simple estate plan that dictates who will receive your assets upon death. It also directs who will be in charge of administering your estate.

If you die without a proper estate plan, the distribution of your estate will be determined by government statute, not in accordance with your desires.

When you create a Will, it is very likely that the Will will be required to go through the Probate process.

NonProbate Transfers

While a Revocable Living Trust is still the best option for avoiding Probate, Missouri does recognize certain types of instruments that do not require assets to go through Probate.
